The Challenge

Organizations generate thousands of documents including policies, manuals, reports, contracts, technical documentation, and internal knowledge bases. Employees often spend significant time searching for relevant information, leading to reduced productivity and inconsistent decision-making. Traditional AI chatbots frequently produce inaccurate or hallucinated responses because they rely solely on their training data and lack access to an organization's latest internal documents. The objective was to develop an intelligent knowledge assistant capable of retrieving relevant information from enterprise documents and generating accurate, context-aware responses while maintaining source transparency.

The Outcome

Designed and developed a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system that combines vector-based semantic search with Large Language Models. The system processes enterprise documents, converts them into vector embeddings, stores them in a vector database, and retrieves the most relevant content when a user submits a query. Retrieved information is then provided as context to the LLM, enabling accurate and source-grounded responses. The solution supports multiple document formats, real-time information retrieval, conversational interactions, and citation-based responses.
